Editing my digipak

When editing my digipak I wanted to create an effect where it seemed that Callum's face was a jigsaw puzzle. I was able to do this using the various tools available on Photoshop.

First I opened both images in separate windows and cut them out using the quick selection tool, making sure not to miss any part of each of the pictures.

After transferring both images to my digipak the scale of each of them was off. To deal with this I used the rectangle marquee tool, right clicked and selected "free transform". This allowed me to adjust the size of the shape and my making the picture smaller whilst holding shift I was able to keep the correct size proportions.

Once I had adjusted each of the images sizes I then placed them over each other for reference.

Then by selecting the two separate layers i was able to right click and "merge layers" so that they became a single image. The desired effect of a jigsaw puzzle was then achieved through this and added to the inside cover of my digipak.
